A Victorian Silver Embossed Box, Birmingham 1897 - Secondhand

A Victorian silver rectangular embossed box with a hinged lid.  The box is decorated in a scrolling foliate design with the lid monogrammed with the initials CM entwined.  The two cartouches on each side of the box are blank.

Please note as is typical with older embossed items there are some small pinprick holes where the high points have worn.  In our opinion they are not visible from the outside and do not detract from the beauty or look of the box.
