Sapphire Bar Brooch in 15ct Gold - Secondhand

A single stone round faceted sapphire bar brooch in 15ct gold.  The sapphire is rubover set with a millegrain edge with a open square section circular border.  This is set onto a knife edge bar which leads to the torpedo shaped bar either side.  Pin and visor clasp.

15ct stamped.  Valued as 15ct gold

15ct gold was discontinued in 1932 as we moved over to 14ct gold to step into line with the rest of Europe.
