Garrard Mens Wrist Watch in 9ct Gold dated 1963 - Secondhand

A gents 9 carat gold Garrard wrist watch made by Smiths on a leather strap.  The watch has a silvered baton/arabic alternating dial with subsidiary seconds dial.  This was the highest grade of wrist watch made by Smiths with a manual wind movement, specially refined and with extra jewelling (18 jewels as opposed to 15 jewels) and extra special escapement components.  Breguet overcoil hairspring.  Screw in back.

Case diameter - 32.00mm.

9CT hallmarked Birmingham 1963 by ALD (Dennison).

Serial number - 249899.
